Mandarin Speaking IT Support Engineer

Type: Permanent

Location: London (EC2N Area) – Hybrid working circa 3 days per week in office.

To be considered for this role you must speak Mandarin.

IT Support Engineer required to join a very large global bank who are growing their presence in the UK market.

The chosen candidate will join a small team to provide technical support across the bank’s infrastructure and also help improve reliability, availability, security and performance across all aspects of IT. As well as this you will be one of the first points of contact to users in the UK and provide remote and deskside support.

You will manage and administer local configurations associated with desktop environment, assist installations and conduct tests on a range of hardware and software.

This is a varied role will provide a candidate exposure to a wide range of technologies/systems. The company also offer a very competitive benefits package.

Key Skills/Experience (not all of these are must haves, it just gives an idea of the technical environment)

• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT Support type experience.
• Operational experience in maintaining desktop, laptop, and office software.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP and networking management, and the ability to configure Cisco Switch, Router, Firewall, wireless device.
• Experience in management of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, OCS Server, SharePoint Server, and VMware software.
• Development and data mining capabilities of small databases, familiar with the development and application of mainstream database products such as MySQL or SQL2000
• Experience in the finance sector a plus.
• Good written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin.
