Salary: £85,208-106,510 per annum
Further basic salary increases should be expected from July 2023. More information on these increases will be given to the successful candidate.

This vacancy is in the Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) division, within the Client Servicing & Engagement (CSE) platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate to join us as a Lead iOS Engineer working across several cross-disciplinary feature teams providing engineering leadership and expertise. You will be passionate about designing and delivering scalable mobile applications.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with solution architects, UI/UX designers, API development team and proposition managers to refine and implement features
Act as an authority with knowledge of best practice iOS UI/UX design principles and patterns
Demonstrate leadership for mobile architecture
Provide mentoring and supporting for iOS development team members
Help create prototypes to explore innovative solutions and features

Technical Skills
Expertise in Swift & iOS development
Proficient in secure application development practices
Excellent knowledge of Swift and iOS SDK and experience in building mobile applications for iOS
Strong knowledge of Apple UI design principles, interface guidelines, and patterns
Behavioral Skills
A “can-do” attitude, capability of bootstrapping projects and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal, and external distributed teams across the project lifecycle.
In addition, it would be desirable to have exposure to:
Application security principals, cryptography and secure coding techniques
Cross-platform frameworks – react native, flutter, ionic
Java, Javascript, NodeJS
RESTful APIs and web services
React / AngularJS frameworks
Strong understanding of source code repositories and change management tools, Git.
Experience of working with Docker or other containerisation technologies
Experience of successfully implementing and using CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of agile development practices and test automation (Unit/Integration/E2E testing – Jest/Testing Library/Cucumber/Cypress).
Display a DevOps mindset and ability to use tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
Experience with build processes and release automation (Azure/GCP Pipelines, Nexus).
Confidence to express own opinions and be pragmatic about modifying them when appropriate.
Excellent team working and communication skills.
Familiarity with development aiding tools such as npm and webpack etc. is advantageous.
