Method Resourcing have partnered with an ever growing retailor who are continuing to invest in their engineering function. As a result, we are looking for a DevOps Lead/Principal engineer who can begin to mentor and work shoulder to shoulder with the staff.

The Lead DevOps Engineer/Principal Devops Engineer/Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for my clients platform, target infrastructure architecture, processes & procedure. You will need to have a conscious focus towards security, but also be able to deliver excellent results within a fast paced start up environment. There will also be an increased emphasis placed on observability and security.

The successful Lead/Principal Devops Engineer will have the following:

Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Commercial experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using the following: Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, SVN, Ansible and Terraform.
Outstanding knowledge of AWS/GCP
Strong understanding of Terraform
Expertise with Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
An Appreciation of Secuiry concepts and principals

I have interview slots already lined up for next week, so this one can move quite quickly for the right candidate. This is a permanent role, paying up to £100,000 – £110,000 for the right candidate.
