Job Title: Lab Infrastructure Support Engineer
Location: 5 days a week on site in Central London
Salary/Rate: Up to £349 a day Inside IR35
Start Date: 14/10/24
Job Type: 12 month Contract

Company Introduction

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our client who are one of the largest Software Development organisations in the world.

The successful candidate will be able to work on site in their London office 5 days a week.

Required Skills/Experience

• Knowledge on Android and iOS tools for debugging (ADB/Logcat) (Nice to Have)
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Worked on Andriod and iOS device automation
• Good working knowledge on Python or Java based framework (eg PyNum, PyTest, PyUnit, Django, PyCharm, etc) (Must Have)
• Good understanding of Linux commands and Shell Scripting (Must Have)
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to analyse data and accurately document and record results.
• Hands-on experience in different framework.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Extensive experience in Infrastructure development and management in Test Lab/Data center environment especially in Embedded devices.
• Set up, change and maintain prototype devices.
• Monitor device health, and perform manual remediation as necessary when devices cannot be automatically remediated.
• Perform device configuration changes as requested by software engineers.
• Investigate testing failures which may be the result of hardware issues.
