We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that require a Infrastructure Support Engineer to join them on a major project that’s based in London.
Job Title – Lab Infrastructure Engineer
Day Rate – £345.60
Location – London
iR35 determination – Inside
Duration – 12 months

5+ Years of experience in Infra development and management in Test Lab/Data center environment especially in Embedded devices.

Set up, change and maintain prototype devices.

Monitor device health, and perform manual remediation as necessary when devices cannot be automatically remediated.

Perform device configuration changes as requested by software engineers.

Investigate testing failures which may be the result of hardware issues.

Skills

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.

Working knowledge of Linux.

Worked on Andriod and iOS device automation

Hands-on experience in different framework.

Good working knowledge on Python or Java based framework (eg PyNum, PyTest, PyUnit, Django, PyCharm, etc) (Must Have)

Knowledge on Android and iOS tools for debugging (ADB/Logcat) (Nice to Have)

Good understanding of Linux commands and Shell Scripting (Must Have)

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fields.

Data center operation experience.

Experience working with consumer electronics development.
