Role: Software Engineer – Kaffka Specialist

Location: London

Daily rate: £750 – £1,000 pd paid inside IR35 via umbrella

Our client, a leading global FinTech is looking to hire someone with stong Kafka Operations and Admin experience to join on a six-month contract.

Preferred Skills: Kubernetes docker Grafana Prometheus PCI compliance knowledge(Cloud) AWS Cloud experience EKS Jenkins Git DevOps Terraform Packer Development background Docker Kubernetes Helm Charts ArgoCD GitOps Networking concepts & troubleshooting experienceExperienceIn-Depth Experience with AWS Cloud Platform Core Components – EC2, EBS , S3, IAM, KMS, Cloudwatch, SQS, SNS, AWS Secret ManagerExperience with Terraform and Ansible3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka and confluent platformIn-Depth knowledge of Kafka Architecture.Hands on Experience with Unix Shell scripting, Python, Docker, Jenkins, Kerberos, SSL/TLS. Active DirectoryExperience with Packer, Harness, Grafana Prometheus, PCI compliance knowledge is a plus.Experience with Redhat Linux is a plusExperience with resolving Vulnerabilities and securing AWS infrastructure is a plusKey ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance Kafka cluster in both cloud and on-premise environment.Develop and maintain Kafka connectors to integration with various data sources and sinks.Optimize Kafka configurations to ensure maximum performance and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues, including cluster performance, data loss, and data consistency problems.Work with Devops teams to implement and manage Kafka deployment using Harness or other similar deployment tools
