Junior IT Systems Administrator – London – £40,000 – £45,000

We have an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking and passionate IT Systems Administrator to join and excellent clients very intelligent team in the City of London. The successful candidate will ideally need to have 12 months commercial experience within an IT Systems Administration role and should be comfortable communicating with different teams. Our client’s team is full of intelligent individuals from either a computer science or mathematical background so the successful IT Systems Administrator should ideally have a degree but it’s not essential. What my client are looking for though is for someone who is very passionate, wants to learn and is well – organised.

This is an office-based role and our client’s location is in a prestigious building in the centre of London. As well as offering very competitive salaries, our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Skills required:

• Experience of Systems Administration in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
• Working knowledge of SQL, Scripting languages
• Hyper-V Virtualization
• Network experience
• Solid hardware experience, eg, with building custom machines
• Any programming experience is desirable
