McGregor Boyall Associates has partnered with a leading macro hedge fund manager, who has enjoyed particularly strong gains during the pandemic error and looking to expand their team.

This London based Hedge Fund that build cutting-edge trading systems are on the hunt for tech-savvy Software Developer who can help them build and future-proof their order management and execution systems.

We are looking for a bright C# .NET developer who is relatively new in their career. If you don’t have a background in finance, then that’s okay as full training and support is provided.

Their systems use a broad number of modern technologies primarily focused on the Microsoft stack – C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and SQL Server. They welcome applications from well-educated software engineers, from any background but have an interest in building financial trading systems.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Systems development experience using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and SQL Server
• A strong education in Computer Science is preferred
• Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data Structures
• Intellectual curiosity and drive to anticipate and solve challenging technological problems
• Strong ability to communicate effectively
• Collaborative and keen to learn

Experience in any of the following is a nice to have but full training is provided:

FIX, Tradeflow, Order Entry, Market Data, OMS or execution systems
