Java Equities Algo Developer – Global Brokerage – £200k Full Time

Our client a leading global brokerage are looking to hire an experienced Java Developer into their Equities Algo area.

You will be working in an area responsible for providing the firms algo trading and quant analysis platforms that handle billions of trades daily.

You will be developing business logic, and technical implementation whilst working closely with the Quant teams to implement cutting edge ideas through custom algorithms and trade automation.

• Excellent Core Java knowledge
• Experience in Algo Trading
• Ideally a background in Equities
• Strong knowledge of Trade Execution
• Strong knowledge of JVM Tuning, Garbage Collection, Multi-threading
• Understanding of the Algo process ie limit order books etc.
• Candidates need to have strong test first approach, test-ability is key
• The role is not latency sensitive – they run to millisecond time scale

WFH Policy – Very relaxed, once a week in the office.
