Location: Remote working is acceptable with some travel requirements into the London Office when deemed necessary

Pay rate: £536 per day Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months, potentially ongoing

Position: Snr & Jnr Java Developers x3 – SC Cleared

Clearance: SC Cleared

We require an experienced Senior Java engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience. In collaboration with the Development, QA and DevOps teams, you will be writing long-standing, high quality & efficient code for high performance integrated software to help solve unique client problems. A team player with a proactive mind set, with a passion for working together as a team to achieve goals .

Key duties and responsibilities as a Java Developer:

• Contributing to daily stand-ups and scrums, and providing accurate status updates;
• Design activities;
• Coding as part of a team;
• Testing as part of a team
• Experience and be comfortable working with Agile processes and principles;
• Agile development;
• Pro-active team member

Required Industry and Competencies for this role:

• Java (4 – Expert);
• PL/SQL (4 – Expert);
• Postgres (2 – Knowledge of);
• DevOps – Familiar with Bash, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby (2 – Knowledge of);
• Open Source (3 – Well Versed).
• Oracle EBS (4 – Expert)
• API (4 – Expert)
• Coding principles (4 – Expert)
• Structured testing approach (4 – Expert)
• Experience of AWS Infrastructure (4 – Expert)
• Circle CI and AWS CodePipeline for deployment – (3 – Well versed)
• Sentry, Kibana, Grafana and Prometheus for application monitoring and alerting (3 – Well versed)
• Kubernetes and Docker to schedule and run our services (read about our Cloud Platform) (3 Well versed)
