Java Developer – Leeds – Hybrid remote (£65k – £75k)

This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced Java Developer Engineer who is interested in leading and mentoring other developers, working through the full SDLC, and craves variety on the projects they work on.

With one day a week in either Leeds or London, this position is paying between £65k and £75k p.a. and offers a slew of benefits including:

THE ROLE:
You will be working through the full software development life cycle of client projects from design through to delivery, which will include:

• Solution analysis and design
• Workflow planning
• Hands-on coding (back-end, front-end and integration)
• Leading, mentoring and supporting the development team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 4 years software development experience
• A curiosity to explore new technologies
• Ideally a full-stack or back-end technical background with experience with Java
• An understanding of agile tools and techniques
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• The right to work in the UK
• Willingness to mentor and lead other developers – essential
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
