IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Hybrid Role – 80% full remote!

£50 000 – £54 000

Permanent Position

I am recruiting for an experienced IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role for one of my clients based in London. I am looking for someone with strong Cloud Technology experience. Mainly working with Azure but other multicloud knowledge would be a great benefit. Microsoft and Linux knowledge are also required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Be involved in resolving problems that span multiple disciplines within a support function, including 3rd parties.
• The ability to translate the impact of a technical issue onto a business service will be key to assessing the priority and focus for resolution.
• Understanding and addressing the root causes of problems is a key part of the role.
• As the subject matter expert, assist in the development of the IT Systems team in area of expertise.
• Ensuring personal compliance with and adherence to Equality and Diversity policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with and actively promote Health & Safety at work legislation, Organisational H&S policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulation 2016.
• Actively support the resolution of critical and major incidents across your area.
• Design and delivery of initiatives, and participation in working groups and project teams in support of organisational objectives.
• Maintain system records and high-quality documentation

General requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Relevant certifications related to the cloud environment, such as AZ-104

OR

• 3 years’ experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer
• Passionate about enhancing the service being offered across the team.
• Natural collaborator, energetic and enthusiastic about cross functional delivery.
• Strong communicator in all its forms across all levels of the organisation.
• Focussed on prioritising the right things and planning to ensure success.
• Decisive, ‘can do’ attitude whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and seeing action through to delivery
