Integration Engineer – Oracle HCM Full Time

Legal & General are currently looking for a HR Integration Engineer with experience in designing and building of Oracle HCM related integrations to join their HR Transformation Programme.

For the right candidate, we can offer you £700 p/d inside of IR35 (plus 18.55% Umbrella uplift) to join L&G on an initial 52-week contract, with a view to extend as project not due for completion until end of 2023 at the earliest. Based out of one of our offices of your choice (either London, Hove, or Cardiff), you will work on a hybrid basis, attending the office at least 1-2 times per week.

As a HR Integration Engineer you will play an important role in designing, building, and testing all in scope integrations for the HR Transformation Programme. You will support the analysis, design & development of a more strategic integrated technology platform, that aims to reduce manual activity, increase data quality, transparency, supportability, and security.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Design, build & implement approved changes to all in scope systems, interfaces, or Integration Platforms as defined in the requirements, in-line with agreed times-scales, scope, quality, and security criteria.
2. Develop & execute testing processes in accordance with the Testing Strategy, ensuring that test documentation and reporting metrics are available when needed and complete.
3. Conduct quality reviews to ensure that developed code is of a sufficient standard and conforms to the agreed release process and their associated policies.
4. Ensure all products, processes and services are designed and developed in accordance with industry and organisational best practice.
5. Collaborate with the HR data migration and HR functional teams to ensure data design, functionality, and processes are aligned.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

• Knowledge of Master Data Management approaches, Data Governance, and the Data Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of (SQL) or other Structured Query Languages.
• Knowledge of Relational and Non-relational Databases.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence approaches and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Integration Platforms.
• Knowledge of Automated Deployment, Dev Ops and CICD approach.
• Well-versed in Data Warehouse Automation solutions, with experience in Data Vault Design methodology.
• Experience supporting end-to-end implementations associated with HCM’s particularly Oracle.
• Experience of Data Models, Reporting Packages and analysing large data sets.
• Experience of Data, Configuration & Release Control techniques.
• Experience of multiple tools for analysing, moving, manipulating, and delivering meaningful information in a usable format such as Excel, SQ.
• Experience of influencing project sponsors and project teams to understand the implications of options in relations to managing data.
• Experience of working on Integration technology tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud Services (OIC).
