Job Title: Installation Engineer
Location: London and the Home Counties
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our clients, friendly Installations team covering London and the Home Counties.
As an Installation Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for running and implementing high-quality installations on behalf of our client.
You will be expected to use your depth of experience working within an education setting (or similar) to ensure the best options for Classroom AV, wireless, and cabling technology are provided to all educational establishments that you work with.
Your role will cover installations across London and the Home Counties, working both individually and as part of a team.
The role requires outstanding levels of customer service and someone to build long-lasting, effective working relationships with both schools and colleagues at our client. Professional communication is essential as you will be liaising with both internal and external customers of all levels. A degree of technical understanding will be required, covering aspects of the installations such as cabling, wireless systems, network infrastructure, and Classroom AV hardware options.
A CSCS card holder would be preferred although not essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading programmes of work for installing wireless equipment and network infrastructure
Leading work programmes for installing interactive screens, boards, and projector systems
Leading programmes of work for cabling requirements within the schools
Diagnosing and solving hardware issues relating to all AV systems and networking
Installing hardware within new school sites
The role is offered on a full-time basis, and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding checks.
