Infrastructure Engineer – (Infrastructure, Azure, AzureAD, Windows, Migration, O365, EntraID, SharePoint Online, Intune, Windows Defender, Telephony Systems) – Permanent – City of London

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious global business based in the heart of the City of London.

The role is a project based role with little to no BAU support.

This role is 2 days onsite 3 days home working per week, in a hybrid model

Location: City of London

Salary: up to £60,000 per annum D.O.E

Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Strong migration experience
• Extensive history of working on projects
• O365, ideally full suite experience across Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online
• Active Directory, and ideally AzureAD
• Azure experience
• Security experience around Windows Defender
• Any telephony experience is highly desirable around cabling and setting up of phone systems

Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

• Handling ongoing migration projects, making sure that communication is clear to the entire business
• Creating high level documentation on implemented systems for future staff and end users
• Decommissioning old legacy systems after the migration work has been completed
• Supporting the business needs in order to future proof the IT systems
• Solving problems on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction stays high
• Mentoring junior members of the team in some instances
• Keeping up to date with current industry and technology trends
• Assisting in the tracking and recording of the companies infrastructure assets to ensure that infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times
