Infrastructure Engineer Full Time

A Charity in Central London are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a 6 month fixed term contract on a salary of 46,200 (pro rata). The role is hybrid and you would need to be in the office 1 or 2 days a week.

As part of their Corporate Technology Infrastructure & Security team:

• Manage day-to-day operations for the security, resilience, backup, and monitoring of our infrastructure services both in-house and hosted.

• Work on the design, delivery, and operational requirements of technological change across our services, contributing towards the smooth introduction and integration of new and innovative technologies.

• Support your colleagues with the resolution of major incidents and any escalated issues affecting our infrastructure.

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience working with both virtual environments and physical within multiple Data Centers.

• Experience with Network (MPLS,VLANS, etc.,) and their best practices for maintaining these in secure environments,

• Working technical knowledge of HPe, Cisco, Fortinet, Citrix, Windows, Apple, Skype. ME Teams and Leading Hardware Vendors

• Familiarity with Mutiny, Varonis, SolarWinds. Meraki

• Experience with of VMware and Hypervisors technologies.

• Experience of monitoring and configuring enterprise level storage systems

• Experience of Veeam, HPE data protector and cloud backup technologies

• Familiarity with Business continuity and computer disaster recovery best practices

• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

• One or more of the following certifications:

• CompTIA Server+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Cloud+

• Microsoft N365 Certification/s, Fortinet NSE certification/s
