Infrastructure and Network Specialist

Salary: up to £70,000 per annum + Travel allowance, benefits and bonus

Office based with 1 day per week from home

Infrastructure Specialist to join a large global organisation with a small established IT Team in the UK. The infrastructure specialist will provide end to end solutions and maintaining the Network and Security life cycle ensuring operational efficiency.

The chosen candidate will have a strong rounded Infrastructure and Networking background with the ambition to learn more about security.

Key Skills/ Experience – (not all of these are essential, it just gives an idea of the Infrastructure/Network)

• Advanced support experience within Windows Server, Linux and Windows 10/11 OS
• Advanced support experience with Active Directory and Exchange 2016 on prem
• Experience maintaining VxRail / VMware / RecoverPoint HCI environment
• Managing backups and recovery tasks with Rubrik
• Monitor infrastructure capacity and ensure systems meet business operational requirements
• Microsoft and/or VMWare qualifications would be an advantage
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
• Citrix Netscaler and Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Microsoft Exchange 2016 on prem
• Unix/Linux command line
• SQL Server 2014 / 2016 / 2018 / 2019
• Backup and Recovery
• Checkpoint firewalls
• Intrusion Preventions Signatures
• Email Gateway security – Mimecast
• Antivirus – Sophos
• Security Incident Management
• DDOS Protection
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
• PowerShell and scripting capabilities
• Knowledge of Checkpoint
• Cloud Private access (Zscaler)
