Infrastructure Analyst (MS365/Windows Server/VMware)
Hybrid role 2 days a week in the office.
£60,000 to £70,000 pa
DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading European firm based in (Holborn London who require an Infrastructure Analyst to join their team to help with the day to day support of the companies IT Infrastructure.
The Firm is currently going through an exciting period of change and transformation and as a result they are seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to join our Technology team. As an Infrastructure Analyst, reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day preventative maintenance, monitoring and support of systems and the full range of infrastructure services and technology in use across the firm, covering both support and project work whilst implementing a process of continual improvement.
You will also be responsible for support and project-based work on the firm’s HPE/VMWare/Microsoft based Server infrastructure underpinned by Cisco, Palo Alto and F5 BIGIP networking/security. This will include supporting the firm’s data centre (co-located) and office (London and Munich) infrastructure and operations.
This role will involve working in a shift pattern (8-4, 9-5, and 10-6). Paid out of hours work will be required to facilitate maintenance, upgrades and projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Supporting, maintaining and implementing the following:
Microsoft Windows server (2012/2016/2019) environment
VMWare 6.7 and above
Blade server and SAN. HPE Synergy/Storage (Nimble) preferable
Palo Alto Firewall and VPN solutions
F5 BIGIP load balancers
Veeam backup and replication solution (including configuration)
SCCM Maintaining laptop image, software roll outs, patching
Microsoft Exchange onsite and online
Office 365 implementation and administration
Intune
Microsoft Teams
DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and Group Policy (2016)
A Cloud anti-virus/malware solution (Sophos preferred)
Ensuring IS&T infrastructure is robust and reliable, meeting defined SLA’s
Monitoring and troubleshooting malfunctions of server and network hardware and software
Project work within the Technology department and collaboration with other departments
Secondary Responsibilities

Knowledge and experience of VDI or Thin Client technologies
Experience supporting network hardware – Cisco Catalyst Switches/Firewall knowledge
Server monitoring
ITIL foundation/aware

Qualifications and background
The ideal candidate would be educated to degree or post graduate level, preferably in a Technology or Infrastructure related discipline, and/or have previous experience working in a professional services organisation in a similar role. This is not essential, however, and we would welcome candidates from other backgrounds with varied experience.
