Required experience and qualifications:Experience in Information Security with a focus on governance, risk, and complianceDesirable relevant qualifications from ISC2, ISACA, EC Council etcKnowledge of IT systems, networking principles, and security controlsStrong communication skills and good attention to detailSelf-motivated, with a passion for career developmentAble to travel occasionally, ideally with a full UK driving licence
Role and responsibilities:Support the continual development and maintenance of the organisation’s cybersecurity and privacy strategy Facilitate and conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategiesSupport and manage the response to security incidentsSupport the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standardsSupport and build out the provision of training to employees on cybersecurity best practices and data privacy requirementsStay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and continuously improve the organisation’s security postureCollaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes and systemsManage relationships with external security vendors and service providers
