Information Security Lead – Fully Remote – £60,000 to £70,000

There is an exciting opportunity with one of the fastest growing companies in the data distribution space. As an Information Security Lead, you’ll assist in providing security for the world’s leading data collaboration platform, which offers solutions to a multitude of multi-million- and billion-dollar organisations, with multiple offices in the UK, as well as the US, Australia and more.

The company has evolved quickly over the past years, securing millions in funding from investors, and with this growth are looking to expand their Security team. They harbour a start up like culture, which is fast paced, collaborative, and looks to tackle problems head on.

This position will be primarily hands-on and are looking for a candidate who will be able to:

• Monitor the SIEM and handle auditing tasks.
• Provide threat analysis and detection.
• Work closely with the wider Security team on general duties, automation, and incidents.
• Analyse and identify trends of security log data.
• Adhere to up-to-date security policies and apply best practice.

The ideal background or experience in the following would be ideal:

• Good knowledge of fundamental IT and Networking principles
• Extensive insight into security threat landscape
• Experience with incidents of application attacks, phishing, port scanning, etc.
• Strong understanding of any of Azure/AWS/GCP landscapes
• TCP/IP
• Firewall and Intrusion detection systems
