Job Type: Contract (12 months)

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Azure Backend Engineer to join their team for an in initial 12 month contract.

Role Description:

1. Azure certification/Terraform/Vault/Devops/GitHub automation/CI/CD pipelines/, Scripting (GCP and/or Azure) Agile
2. Responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the Azure cloud infrastructure.
3. Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems
4. Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services
5. Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
6. Recommend process and architecture improvements
7. Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
8. Experience with using a broad range of Azure services (eg virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, backup, VPN, container instances, AAD, Firewall, blueprints, policies, database) to develop and maintain a range of Azure based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security
9. Scripting skills (PowerShell, CLI, Azure APIs)
10. Strong experience in the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc
