Identity Services Manager with significant Active Directory management experience is sought by hugely prestigious and vibrant City based financial services organisation. You will have day to day responsibility for management of the Identity and Authentication Services environment.

This is a hands-on role and will work closely with outsourced support teams as well as interacting with internal IT delivery functions on a day-to-day basis co-ordinating, overseeing and managing activities for the identity and authentication services. In addition, this role will provide internal technical project management facing off to the outsourcer’s project managers where required.

This role would either suit someone who is in a technical role currently and looking to move into more of a supplier management role or someone already in this role and looking for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with outsourcer to ensure that they are correctly managing the in-scope services including Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD and Microsoft Authenticator.
• Ensure M365 Conditional Access Policies are appropriately implemented by the outsourcer to provide consistent and authorized access to systems.
• Work with the outsourcer to ensure Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) are implemented to provide the appropriate level of privileged access to the various outsourced and internal IT teams for the in-scope services.
• Drive use of and promote best practice in DevOps automation utilizing PowerShell instilling it as a fundamental concept within the outsourcer’s teams.
• Manage the outsourcer ensuring that they deliver to CSLs/KPIs and monitor the quality of the service they provide.
• Work with the various teams on in-flight projects.
• Be a conduit between internal IT teams and the outsourcer for Identity and Authentication services.
• Analyzing Azure AD sign-in logs for identity services and creating detection of potential security events

Key Requirements:

• Experience of working with or for an outsourcer is ideal.
• Experience working with, supporting, and administering Microsoft 365.
• Experienced in the concepts of DevOps and their applications in Identity and Authentication services including PowerShell Scripting and scheduling.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience with contract and CSL/KPI performance management.
• Experience of Vendor Management and negotiation is ideal.
• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies.
