An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Project Manager to join one of Adecco’s key public sector clients’ Transformation & Insight team on a full time (35 hours each week, Monday to Friday) 12 month fixed term contract. This role is working hybridly from our client’s office in Dartford, Kent.
Working closely with the Head of Delivery & Change, this role will ensure the company effectively delivers on transformation projects across the organisation. The Salary is 50,160- 62,700 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience).
Key tasks in this role include:
Project managing key transformational and continuous improvement projects in line with the company’s corporate strategy, delivering against agreed deliverables to budget, time & quality constraints.
Ensuring projects are commissioned and delivered in line with the company’s process for change and use agreed governance documentation.
Overseeing the end-to-end delivery cycle for projects from ideation and discovery phases through to the scope definition, resource & planning, execution and transfer of projects to an operational state of acceptance.
Identifying and managing key project resources, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and the relevant skills needed to execute the change have been secured.
Working with project sponsors to articulate clear business cases with sound financial and business impact analysis in line with our project framework.
Working with project sponsors and operational leaders to create and execute against benefits realisation plans inclusive of identifying and tracking benefits.
Proactively identifying, assessing and managing project risks in line with the company’s project management framework, ensuring adequate escalation and ownership of risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Managing project budgets in line with our delivery framework ensuring project costs are under control and escalation processes for financial risks are followed.
Working with colleagues across the business including IT & front line operations colleagues to ensure that current and future state processes are clearly defined as part of the project lifecycle.
In conjunction with colleagues in the Communications team, develop and execute against stakeholder management and communication plans ensuring both colleagues and customers are not only informed of key updates, but are actively engaged in the changes being deployed.
Evaluating the success of deliverables and work with business owners to ensure controlled closure and transfer of projects through to an operational state in which the change can be effectively sustained.
Ensuring that best practice is used across the organisation, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement through effective lessons learnt processes and contributing to the upskilling of colleagues in change & project management principles.
Project management experience aligned to business change, business process re-engineering and business process modelling is key for this role, as is a project management qualification (Prince 2, Agile or PMP). In addition, a track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to project deadlines is essential for all applicants too.
