The impact you’ll have:

Reporting to the Director of Organic Marketing, the Head of SEO is a critical subject matter & people management role. You will lead the strategy & provide operational support in innovating and growing a best-in-class SEO function for loveholidays.

Your day-to-day:

• Develop and own the company’s comprehensive SEO strategy, incorporating the latest trends and algorithms to enhance organic search rankings and overall digital presence.
• Manage relationships with key external stakeholders and vendors, setting priorities and ensuring that partnerships deliver maximum value aligned with our SEO goals.
• Lead cross-departmental collaboration to integrate SEO objectives with overall business strategies, working closely with marketing, content, and technical teams to optimise impact.
• Drive the innovation of new SEO tools, analysis and processes, leveraging advanced analytics to refine strategies and achieve superior results in competitive analysis and market penetration.
• Continuously drive efficiency through adopting AI and automation.
• Represent the SEO team in senior management meetings, presenting trading progress, insights, and strategic recommendations to management to inform broader business decisions and resource allocation.

Your skillset:

• Proven track record in leading and managing SEO teams to deliver ambitious strategic goals.
• A proactive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude.
• A proven track record of leading SEO projects with multiple internal stakeholders including developers, designers, product owners, data and insights & content teams.
• Experience of proactively identifying and resolving complex SEO problems.
• Expert Technical SEO knowledge.
• Comfortable with analysing large data sets and able to execute SQL queries.
• Ambition to deliver big impact in a growing business.
• A hands-on style, with the ability to operate at multiple levels.
• A strong understanding of the commercial, customer & technical KPIs that determine success in SEO.

Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

• Experience of Scaling sites into new languages & markets.
• Experience in delivering successful Content Marketing and Digital PR campaigns.
• Knowledge of Python & Regex.

The interview journey:

1. Talent Acquisition Partner – 30 minute screening.
2. Initial video call with Director of Organic Marketing – 30 minutes.
3. Panel interview with key stakeholders including presentation – 1 hour.
4. Final stage interview with Exec – 45 minutes / 1 hour.
