Head of Digital Infrastructure (NHS Band 8b)

My client in South London is looking to appoint a talented Head of Digital Infrastructure on a Contract basis.

This role will provide overall strategic leadership to the technical teams delivering infrastructure, support and technical services, which underpin the delivery of all clinical and digital services

About the role:

Based in South London (Hybrid):

• Provide excellent operational management to ensure that digital services to CHS customers and its clients are delivered to the highest standard, in partnership with the Solution Architect
• Develop and provide strategic and operational planning to ensure effective delivery of the infrastructure operational service
• Be responsible for all aspects of the Trust’s IT infrastructure, including:
  • Networks and their management
  • Servers and their management
  • Data centres and their management
  • UPSs and their management
  • Telephone systems and their management

About you:

You will have the following skillsets or experiences:

• NHS experience is essential.
• Significant experience in managing IT infrastructure at a senior level
• Significant experience of managing budgets
• ITIL Foundation

What’s on offer:

• Salary: £300-£350+ per day inside IR35 (Band 8b)
