Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy Leadership: Develop and execute a robust data strategy aligned with business objectives, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing data team, providing guidance in data governance, analytics, and business intelligence.

Data Governance: Implement and enhance data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security.

Data Architecture: Drive the design and implementation of scalable and efficient data architecture to support current and future business needs.

Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, applying innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their data needs and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

• We need someone who understands data and technology and can influence AWS experience
• Government experience/logistics data would be very good- Shipping or air freight
• Startup/Scale up experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in data management, analytics, and leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency in data technologies, database management, and Business Intelligence tools.
• Expertise in developing and implementing data governance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
