Salary package – £100,000 to £110,000 + benefits

TechNet IT is currently working with a well-known arm of the government who are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join them.

You will be responsible and be an ambassador for all things Cyber Security across the organisation reporting directly into the Deputy Chief Information Officer. You will play a vital role in designing, enabling, and delivering the Cyber Security Vision and Strategy.

Some of what you will be doing:

• Cyber Security strategy, roadmaps, and security improvements.
• IT Health check (ITHC) and other risk and audit returns
• Supplier and vendor assessments
• Leading a team and supporting their career development
• Liaising and working with senior leaders within the organisation
• Line management
• Incident management
• Resource planning

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• CISM, CISSP, CCP
• Security Domain
• Technical leadership
• Networks, Firewall, Vulnerability Management, SIEM and EDR technologies
• Threat Modelling, Incident Response, Penetration Testing (external/internal)
• Azure, AWS, Office 365
