GRC Team Lead

Day rate £753pd (Inside IR35)*

Financial Services – 12 Month Contract

Remote working with some days in Central London.*

We are currently assisting this international banking group in the hire of a GRC Team Lead on a contract basis. As a GRC Team Lead, you will direct a team of Governance Risk and Control SMEs responsible for carrying out IT Security Assessments (Secure-by-Design) on technology projects, to ensure that all projects comply with IT security policies and requirements.

The client is a global banking group, with their EMEA HQ based in London. We have assisted in the placement of over 100 IT professionals at this client and receive consistent positive feedback from successful candidates.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

• Lead the Governance Risk and Control team responsible for IT Security Assessments (Secure by design) on technology projects
• Provide project support for ongoing Data Classification and Data Loss Protection initiatives.
• Deliver on the Secure-by-design process to help ensure that all relevant technology projects undergo security review
• Outlining relevant KPIs and measuring the team against the KPIs
• Holding regular team meetings
• Producing timely and accurate management reporting using tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Open Pages.

Experience:

• Good understanding of cybersecurity/IT control frameworks, including SOX, FFIEC, ISO27001, NIST, Cloud Security Alliance
• Understanding of PLC/SDLC
• Experience managing multiple tasks with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty
• Experience providing assurance for cybersecurity technologies, policies, standards and procedures.

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). This role pays up to £753pd. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pension contributions. All statutory deductions (both Employers and Employee NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure.

*Hybrid Working: Our client has a hybrid working model. You will be expected to spend two days a week on-site in their London EMEA HQ near Moorgate Tube. The remainder can be spent working remotely from home, or if preferred in the office.
