The Job:
We are looking for a Game Designer driven by a desire to develop innovative experiences that bring people together. You will need to be flexible and able to apply your skills to work on a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. Casual or hyper casual design experience is a bonus.
Working alongside the Game Developers and production team, the Game Designer will be responsible for designing, planning and executing new games and product refreshes of existing games. You will be responsible for ensuring that IGB games are renowned as the most fun, immersive group experiences on the planet, reaching an audience that goes well beyond traditional gamers.
This position involves wearing many different hats: from creative thinker to customer experience advocate. You will find inspiration from all types of gaming and entertainment (and beyond) and apply these to create novel experiences.
The Work:
Design and write up new game concepts, guiding and working closely with the Developers on rapid prototyping in Unity, and potentially building simple prototypes yourself.
Apply a data-driven production & design methodology.
Run user testing programs, defining learning objectives, feedback loops and key learnings.
Work with the Unity developers to refine and iterate level designs on gameplay elements based on feedback from testers.
Plan your own work proactively and methodically, including regular check-ins with the head of Content and the rest of the Content Team.
Work with the artists and animators to establish and refine the look of each game.

Can work predominantly remotely, but must be able to work on-site at our offices in central London from time to time when testing games.
Experience:
Track record of designing, refining and testing commercially successful games
3+ years experience designing games
Background in data-driven testing and iteration based on user testing
Passion for play and games of all types including mobile games, board games, physical games, console games, etc
Working knowledge of Unity a plus
Prototyping capabilities is a plus
Experience designing social or party games is a plus
Experience working in fast-growth or early-stage businesses is a plus
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams is a plus
