Our client, an international financial services company, is seeking a core Java Developer to join their innovative FX IT trading team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of applications within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core Java applications, focusing on pricing client contracts and points services.
• Work extensively with Cassandra NoSQL on a large global cluster to enhance system performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
• Run complex queries and handle automation services for internal teams, streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Core Java development with a strong understanding of threading and Multithreading concepts.
• Solid experience with Linux operating systems.
• Expertise with Cassandra and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking products, particularly in FX/Fixed Income
• Previous experience in a Front Office environment managing systems related to rates is advantageous.
