Front End Developer – React, Redux Fintech.

London, Hybrid working. £75,000 to £85,000

Hugely rewarding and rare opportunity for a Front End Developer to join a small but established and rapidly growing FinTech firm specialising in data analytics for financial (FX currency) markets. You will be working on software applications focused on trading services to improve performance of some of the world’s largest financial institutions. This is a key role to create applications with effective presentation and visualisation.

Working in a culture of innovation, creativity and curiosity, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of interesting technological challenges, including machine learning, AI and Real Time data processing.

You should have a well-rounded technical skill set with expertise in Front End, Responsive Design, Client Scripting and programming languages

This role will have client facing responsibilities and working in a highly motivated and astute, closely knit team. High level communication, motivation, proactivity are key attributes alongside attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

The full technology stack includes React, Redux, Python, Flask, NGINX, Docker, Linux and AWS.

Essential

• You have at least 5 years’ experience working in web based UI/Front End software engineering
• Web tech: React and Redux experience, Typescript, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
• Programming Languages: Either: Java, Python, C#
• be able explain tricky concepts to non-specialists
• attention to detail
• deliver excellent work on tight deadlines
• learn new technology

Ideally

• Financial markets experience
• Cloud DevOps experience
• Experience with Linux (AWS Linux/Centos), Shell script, OpenVPN, NGINX, Load balancers, Docker
