Field Network Engineer – Cisco, CCNA Routing, Switching, Travel, Telco – Reading/Swindon, Outside IR35

This is a fantastic Network Field Engineer contract opportunity with an established, successful tech company.

The role is Field based- so generally in Reading or Swindon sites with occasional London. You must have your own vehicle and travel Outside of Swindon. Reading is covered.

The Field Network Engineer is Outside IR35.

As Field Network Engineer you will work on Data Centre migration projects across multiple sites, for this reason, previous experience as a Field Engineer is essential, any experience with ISP/IT/Telco companies is preferred. In addition to hands on Networking background, the Field Network Engineer must have CCNA as well as good Cisco Knowledge. The Network Field Engineer will provide Implementation, Troubleshooting, Installation and Commissioning inline with project guidelines. Solid Routing (BGP, EIGRP, route maps, HSRP, prefix lists etc) is preferred as is decent Switching (STP, VLAN, trunking). Knowledge of VPNs and Firewalls is also desirable as Network Field Engineer.
