As the Software Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading a team of up to 10 software engineers, both onshore and offshore. Reporting directly to the Head of Development, you’ll be the driving force behind the development process, ensuring that deliverables are always on time, within scope, and of the highest quality. This is a people-focused role where your ability to motivate, inspire, and guide the team will be key to your success.

You’ll start by leading the scrum process, fostering a collaborative and agile environment. With a focus on people, delivery, and technology, you’ll have the freedom to work with a variety of tech, ensuring that solutions are always at the cutting edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of up to 10 software engineers (onshore and offshore).
• Drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
• Facilitate and lead scrum ceremonies, ensuring agile practices are followed.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Development to align team goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Support the professional growth and development of your members.
• Champion best practices in software development and delivery.

• Proven experience in a software engineering management role.
• Strong people management skills with a passion for developing talent.
• Experience leading agile teams and delivering complex software projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of technologies and tech stacks.

This will be paying up to £80,000.
