End User Compute Architect (Endpoint Manager/Intune/M365)

The role will take responsibility for the design, development and roadmap of the end user compute technology for the business. This will include the Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange-Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Windows 10 and Intune.

Responsibilities:

– Own the design, governance, principles and strategy for SaaS/PaaS technologies especially the Microsoft 365 suite of technologies.
– Own the digital workplace portfolio and their forward-looking strategy including Windows 10, Microsoft Office, iOS Apps, email, chat messaging, document sharing and coauthoring as well as mobile management.
– Owner of the hardware selection process used in the End User space such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones, web cams and headsets.
– Work alongside the rest of the Strategy & Architecture team to build an overall technology vision and strategy for the business to adopt over number of years.
– Ensure that all strategy, architecture, standards, patterns, principles and roadmaps are kept current and fully understood.
– Create and maintain architectural documentation as artefacts that relate to network topology, architectural designs, patterns, principles and standards and technology selection.

Required Skills/Experience:

– Modern endpoint management – clear experience of moving away from SCCM to Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), via co-management.
– Intune experience, from compliance policies to configuration profiles as both will underpin Win 11.
– Experience across Azure AD focusing on identity, designing conditional access polices.
– Enterprise Mobility focusing on mobiles phones – again Intune MDM/MAM.
– The full M365 stack with a focus on collaboration, Teams integration with 3rd party apps and workflows with Power Automate.
