Team and Role Overview
We are is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Product Management team as a Business Analyst in the Market Data & Electronic Trading team. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to contribute to the development and rollout of our Front Office solution and requires someone with the strong motivation and desire to work in a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst will contribute to core aspects of the solution and will participate to the overall product roadmap process.
Responsibilities Division Overview
Strategy is at the core of the business of Adenza. A well-articulated and quantified strategy drives the attention and investment across the organization. The Regulatory Solution Strategy Division is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the sales organization and driving the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives for Adenza in partnership with multiple stakeholders across R/D, Finance, and Customer Success.
Team and Role Overview
Adenza is looking for a Director of Product Management – Regulatory Solutions, Risk Solutions to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining requirements, development approach and ensuring quality delivery of market-leading risk management and regulatory reporting software. They should leverage in depth knowledge and firsthand implementation experience of Basel aligned Capital regulatory requirements. They will play a leadership and SME role in creating functional specifications with a team of business analysts and working closely with other teams to bring our software from concept to successful client deployments. Ultimately, the successful candidate will ensure that our products are fully featured, accurate, intuitive and enable our clients to meet their analytical and regulatory reporting needs.
Responsibilities: Take on a role that spans leadership and hands-on involvement in creating high quality Business Requirements and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs). The output of this candidate and his team is expected to outline requirements in clear and cohesive functional input and output structures (data dictionaries, cubes, dashboards, regulatory and management reports, etc.) and relevant business logic in between. Participate in leadership conversations as an SME shaping the firm’s Risk Solutions through inputs to key areas for investments, key challenges and solutions, and strategies for value creation and market roll out of our Capital Risk solutions. Provide input into the strategic roadmap of solution development and go to market strategies for Basel IV Capital Calculation and Reporting solutions across Market Risk, Credit Risk, Leverage Ratio, CVA, Large Exposures, and Operational Risk. Lead Product initiatives in strategy and business analysis functions such as defining functional architectures, shaping and enforcing standards for internal specifications, building collaboration models and sharing knowledge with developers, testers, and pre-sales in functional areas. Engaging clients to address escalations and resolve high complexity and high sensitivity issues. Collaboration with other Adenza product leadership, such as Functional and Technical architects to push forward best practices, Sales and Marketing teams to align GTM strategies, Support and Customer Success teams to provide key updates and roadmaps, Client Delivery team to ensure successful implementations and capturing of client feedback.
Skills And Requirements Skills And Requirements:
Experience as a senior individual contributor or team leader in financial services firms (Asset Managers, Banks, Hedge funds, Brokerage Firms, Clearing companies) in the domain of Regulatory Risk Compliance and Reporting. Or similar seniority in a vendor servicing this need. Knowledge and first-hand experience in the interpretation and implementation of BCBS Capital Requirements in at least one major jurisdiction (EBA CRD/CRR, MAS 637, etc). Ability to lead discussions and formulate outcomes in data requirements and calculation rules around a topic such as Credit Risk (EAD calculations, CRM, RWA Standardised and IRB), Market Risk (FRTB and Basel III Standardized), Leverage Ratio, and CVA. Ability to interpret complex regulatory publications and provide guidance to team members on the creation of specifications that break down business requirements into data inputs, processes, and expected outputs as well as non-functional requirements valuable to business users. Collaboration and communication aptitude to share complex ideas succinctly and accurately in written and verbal forms. Self-motivated and autonomous attitude towards finding the optimal path to achieve goals whilst managing deadlines. Team player approach that leverages the knowledge and skills of their team and collaborators across Adenza to ensure we are greater than the sum of our parts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations through active communication.
