Leading digital transformation agency is actively recruiting for an experienced Devsecops/Security Engineer with solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CISSP certification, and a robust skill set in various technologies, including Google BigQuery, SQL, DevSecOps, Data Pipelines, ETL, Continuous Delivery (CD), Continuous Integration (CI), Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Science, Terraform, MLOps, Infrastructure as code (IaC), Machine Learning, Python, and Big Data Analytics.

Responsibilities: for the position of Devsecops/Security Engineer

• Develop and implement security measures to safeguard the company’s cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data management systems ensuring security at every stage.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, integrating security checks and testing methodologies.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and other relevant tools to automate and secure infrastructure deployment.
• Work closely with the Data Science and Machine Learning teams to secure their workflows, models, and experiments in a DevSecOps environment.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending solutions.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the company’s security posture.

Essential experience for the position of Devsecops/Security Engineer

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its security features.
• Proficiency in Google BigQuery, SQL, and data management technologies.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Experience with designing and implementing secure data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts.
• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), and Python.
• Understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics.
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as code (IaC), and MLOps is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
