DevOps Engineer (Mid to Senior) Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Mid to Senior DevOps Engineers with expertise of cloud automation (AWS or GCP) or secure on-premise environments, CI and CD, Kubernetes, and Linux based systems, to embed a DevOps mindset on behalf a large financial institution, pioneering a new DevOps future for the bank. Base salary between £59,400 to £77,000 depending on experience plus bonus, flex cash benefits and generous pension scheme. Remote working with one/two days a week in Central London (City).

Key responsibilities for the DevOps Engineers include:
. To implement DevOps training in various teams across the organisation.
. Taking an interest in junior engineers, in a coaching and mentoring capacity, inspiring cultural change.
. Contribute along the organisations stack, ranging from their cloud platform to their containerised developer platforms, moving between teams to deliver your DevOps skills and knowledge.

Key skills required:
. Extensive experience in Kubernetes, CI and CD, cloud automation (AWS or GCP) or secure on-premise environments and Linux based systems.
. A desire and experience of mentoring and sharing the DevOps mindset within teams, to shift the culture within an organisation
. Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills required.
. To have a security-first mindset with the ability to work within strict procedural guidelines.

Desirable Criteria
. Experience in Python, Golang, and with Ansible and Terraform.
. The ability to efficiently develop understanding of additional languages and programmes, as required.
. To provide automated testing as part of your process and independently design solutions.

In return, this role offers a base salary between £59,400 to £77,000 depending on experience plus bonus and excellent benefits including:

. A non-contributory, guaranteed retirement with the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through a flexible benefits programme
