Datamodelling Engineer – SC/NPPV3 Cleared – 3 months Initially – Remote

Role: Datamodelling Engineer
Start Date: 19th February
Location: Remote (some infrequent travel to London)
Duration: 3 months initially (strong probability of multiple extensions)
PAYE Day Rate: £500-£600 per day (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client & Candidates will only pay Employee NI and tax)
Clearance: SC AND NPPV3 Clearance his highly Desirable.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Datamodelling techniques and methodologies including conceptual, logical, and physical Datamodelling.
• Technical proficiency in Datamodelling tools and technologies eg Erwin or PowerDesigner.
• Understanding of data quality dimensions and techniques for assessing and improving data quality to incorporate into the data model design.
• Strong grasp of data concepts including data types, structures, data analysis techniques and data visualisation.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices including data standards, policies, and stewardship responsibilities.
• Ability to gather and analyse existing documentation on data structures from stakeholders to elicit Datamodelling requirements.
• Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good project management skills to ensure timely delivery of data model.
• Familiar to Data Cataloguing & Data Dictionary principles/best practices.

Soft Skills:

• Highly organised and able to tackle things without supervision
• Experience in enterprise customer arena
• Ability to work both independently as well as collaborating in a fast-paced team environment where technology and customer requirements can change
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
