The post holder will be responsible for leading on the management and development of the Salesforce CRM system which is used to underpin our processes. As such, you will have admin experience of Salesforce with the ability to introduce upgrades to the Salesforce Org to meet the evolving needs of our programme and the young people we serve. This is a crucial role at Career Ready in ensuring our operations run smoothly as well as supporting our strategic initiatives, through the analysis and provision of data/processes. You will be at the heart of the organisation, working with all members of the Career Ready team, more than half of whom are based outside London. Position: Database Manager Responsible to: Head of Digital Location: This role offers a flexible approach to find the right candidate. We are open to a work from home contract for candidates outside of London, with monthly travel to our central London office Hours:Full-time (35 hours) with some flex Salary: £38-42,000 Start date: ASAP Main responsibilities Oversight of the full data journey for the various programmes run by Career Ready, from the individual application stage to the outputs for reporting, and all the individual processes in between Administration of Salesforce including (but not limited to) object and field changes, automated process flows development and data modelling reviews Oversight and management of the various operational data processes to ensure the efficient and error-free running of the programme Investigation and resolution of all highlighted issues with the data process, whether it be an applicant unable to use the front facing experience portal, to an internal user unable to access a record Running of an extensive Quality Assurance cycle on all our data processes, ensuring that all data is valid Utilisation of ETL processes/principles to ensure any future developments are supported Management of internal staff training relating to the data process flows, in collaboration with the Data Liaison Officer Ownership of and investigation in to requests for data gathering and collection, including managing processes of mass data uploads Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery & receipt of data in a timely and cost-effective manner Person specification Essential skills Salesforce Admin experience Knowledge of ETL processes Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Ability to work with databases and analysis software Excellent attention to detail Independent thinking and ability to manage own workload to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills Strong stakeholder management capability Ability to work effectively with others and in a team Desirable skills Knowledge of the Salesforce CRM Non-Profit Success Pack Knowledge of the Salesforce Experience Cloud Knowledge, understanding and interest in social, political, and economic issues relating to Career Ready’s mission. Salary and benefits £38-42,000 per annum (DOE), plus 6% contribution to personal pension plan subject to 3% employee contribution Interest-free season ticket loan Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus bank/public holidays. The Career Ready office is also closed between Christmas and New Year and there are an additional two days of leave available in August.
