Alexander Ash are currently working with a market leading organisation who are looking for a Data Scientist to join their multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for any Data Scientist who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiency’s, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it’s biggest bodies of work.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging business problems using advanced machine learning methods such as Deep Learning and quantitative analytics.
• Understand business requirements and support the development of business cases.
• Clean, aggregate and interpret data in preparation for analysis.

Skill Requirements

• Relevant work experience in data science, machine learning, and business analytics
• Practical experience in coding languages eg. Python, R, Scala, etc.; (Python preferred)
• Strong proficiency in database technologies eg. SQL, ETL, No-SQL, DW, and Big Data technologies eg pySpark, Hive, etc.
