Due to the rapid growth of data and analytics capabilities within the organisation, an exciting new role has opened for a Data Architect to strengthen and advance efficiencies and organisation of multiple company datasets. Supported by the wider team you will be required to review the current database structure and tables and highlight tables for archive. You will advise on best practice within architecture, design, and coding areas.
The role will require someone who has strong SQL Server and Data Warehouse developer background. You will have the tenacity to see through complex problems as well as the vision and spontaneity to contribute new ideas that gain traction within Residential Research.
Review of Residential Research’s server structure and tables
Archive redundant datasets
Apply consistent naming convention
Maintain accurate and complete architecture documents
Perform performance optimisation and maintenance on tables
Write clean, effective, and reusable code with notes for others throughout
Building Enterprise Data Warehouse
Have strong experience with Microsoft SQL or T-SQL for querying data
Experience in the Property sector
Experience in working with MS Azure Cloud Platform
Experience with Alteryx
Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required
Highly organised, systematic and adaptable with an excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise work effectively
Ability to work within a high-pressure environment, balance priorities and remain calm under pressure
