Data Analysts X 6 needed – Oil Trading – London – £40-60,000 base + bonus

The roles are on a hybrid basis 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Global Oil Trading company requires 6 Data Analysts to join Front Office Team. A large Digitization programme has just begun at one of our Oil Trading clients and they are looking for 6 Data Analysts to join the team.

*This is a great opportunity to either move into Data Science or Commodities Analysis*

The role:

• Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and perform data quality testing and monitoring
• Cleansing, Pre-Processing and delivery of data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
• Perform data analysis, identify and interpret pattern in data sets
• Develop Data visualisation and Business Intelligence dashboards using SQL, PowerBI
• Working with data scientists to build out scalable AI and ML models
• Follow good data governance standards
• Take ownership of the assigned projects, including understanding and gathering requirements, designing the solutions, building and maintaining completed industrialised solutions.

Your background

• 2+ years’ experience in Data Analysis
• Good analytical skills.
• Python
• GPandas or Spark Dataframes
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with reporting platform such as PowerBI
• Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data

Ideal experience

• Experience working with databricks technology
• Experience with Data Warehousing
• Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment
• Experience in developing and supporting analytical models/tools
