We’re looking for a Control Room manager to join one of our public sector clients. As a Control Room Manager, you will be responsible, as part of a wider delivery team, for managing the transition over 50,000 users from their current windows W10 EUC platform and onto a new W10 official platform. The upgrade process will manage users through the transition using a set of pre-defined processes and procedures.
As a Control Room Manager you will have:
Previous customer/client facing deployment role experience essential
Running a deployment based Control Room
Firm and assertive character who has the ability to remain calm under pressure
Methodical approach with an attention to detail
Confident in escalating issues and following up with key personnel
An experienced IT professional, with evidence of project delivery capability developed in a customer focussed environment.
Communications, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.
Demonstrated evidence of credibility and integrity, providing advice, direction and support to stakeholders.
Skilled in information and communications technology. Has working knowledge of development life-cycles.
Win10/O365 knowledge an advantage
Large scale public sector IT programme delivery experience an advantage
Ability to assimilate, integrate and extract relevant information in a concise manner as appropriate
Project management experience: ability to plan, monitor, control and report status information
Experience of large scale migrations and technology roll outs
Excellent Excel Skills
Full proficiency in MS Office applications
