Content Designer Full Time

Role: Content Designer – £350 a day Inside IR35 – 1 day minimum per week in the London office – Local Gov

Key tasks:

• Working on a rota to manage web content requests
• Creating and editing content to fit user needs and content styles
• Working on digital product projects with multidisciplinary teams (product designers, user researchers, service designers etc)
• Working on our website redesign project, we’re redesigning all content on our site, this will include designing and writing content, designing information architecture and running workshops with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of how to create high quality, accessible content across devices and for different communities
• Thorough knowledge of best practice accessibility & WCAG 2.1
• Understanding of data analysis and how to interpret user research
• Experience working closely with stakeholders to best meet user and business needs
• Experience of working with different content management systems
• Experience strategically creating consistent content across various user journeys
• Comfortable in making decisions that are best for the user with evidence to back it up
