Business Analyst – Contract Opportunity – Competitive Market Rate (Inside of IR35)

Orbis is collaborating with a prominent trading company that is looking to hire a Business Analyst on a contract basis to help with a brand-new project for the company.

The Business Analyst will play a defining role as a SME, while working in a team to analyse an event streaming platform. They will be able to define and create user stories that are clearly described. The BA should have prior expertise in trading or financial services and come from an agile background.

Key abilities

Previous knowledge of exchange, trading and pricing methods, and commodity derivatives is key

Knowledge of waterfall and agile software delivery approaches

Knowledge of Datamodelling and business processes

Capable of producing intricate specification documents (functional, non-functional)

Experience of working on Kafka would be an advantage
