Azure Engineer (Application gateways) Full Time

Alexander Ash are currently working with a global organisation who are looking for an Azure Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for any Azure Engineer who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiencies, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it’s biggest bodies of work.

You MUST HAVE strong skills in/with:

• Azure DevOps
• Azure Key Vault
• Docker, Kubernetes
• PowerShell, Bash, YAML
• Infra as Code, Terraform

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in DevOps and Agile practices
• The candidate will have a strong background in Azure Application Gateways, and ideally also experience of setting up configurations of mutual TLS with CDN/WAF providers.
• The candidate should also be capable to assist the Lead Architect and Engagement Manager of the workstream and the overall programme Test Manager with the definition, planning and execution of required testing and failover processes.
• Knowledge of security, performance and cost best practices in a software development environment
• Experience of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to model cloud infrastructure
