Azure Data Architect

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

• At least two project experience as Data Architect
• Hands on in Azure ADF, Azure Databricks
• Exp in large Database/Data migration on Azure
• Good understanding of the internals of Hive, Spark and PostGreSQL
• Development activities in data pipeline technologies in Azure
• Person should be able do hands-on coding. Work with Product Owners and Agile Facilitator/Deliver Lead to do implementation of data pipelines as per strategy and roadmaps.
• Proper communication and updates for sprint stories
• Experience with Microservices deployments, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (K8s, ELK, Azure DevOps) and Security practice.
• Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
• Collaborate with product/program managers, software developers and researchers in an Agile/Agile SaFe Environment.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

Must have:

1. Azure Certified Architect
2. Azure Cloud data migration experience
3. Azure DataBricks
4. Azure ADF
5. Git, CI/CD expert with Azure DevOps
6. Azure Data services

Good to have:

1. Python
2. Shell Scripting
3. Data Engineering
