AV Support Analyst – £200 per day Inside IR35 – Short-term Contract, potential of Perm – Requires Flexibility

Your new company

A university in London is looking for an experienced AV Support analyst to support all users of IT and AV systems products and services ensuring that expertise, help and assistance is readily available by assisting with the proactive maintenance of hardware and software.

Your new role

You will act as a point of contact for IT/AV analysts, staff, students and external individuals for all enquiries and incidents relating to ILTS resources and provision, responding to queries by telephone, email and in person in a courteous and effective manner. Provide assistance to all users in a professional and consistent manner, aiming to resolve the majority of enquiries and issues upon first contact. The working pattern requires some flexibility as some days the university will have events that require cover outside of standard business hours 9:30-17:30, but there will be some opportunities for remote working when practically possible.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience of specifying, supporting and troubleshooting audio visual services and systems
• Experience of first line IT support for Mac OSx, Mobile and Windows desktop environments, Internet and productivity suites (MS Office and Google Apps)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and to problem solve independently
• Experience of working within an ITIL and/or service management environment
• Proven customer service orientation
