People Source Consulting is currently exclusively partnered with a Top 10 Global Tech company, looking to recruit an Applied Science Manager to lead a brand-new initiative for their contextual advertising product.

As an ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience in data science and machine learning initiatives. You will have a deeply analytical mindset, with a passion for complex challenges and data-driven solutions.

You will be leading a team of applied scientists, data scientists, and engineers, to leverage state-of-the-art data science and machine learning techniques, across terabytes of data, to create real-world solutions.

To be considered for this position, you will require the following skills and experience:

• Programming in Java, Python, C++ (or related language)
• Experience directly managing scientists/machine learning engineers
• Ph.D. Within: Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research (or a similar highly qualitative field)
• Experience of building machine learning models for business applications
• Excellent communication skills

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Knowledge of distributed computing and experience with advanced machine learning libraries like Spark MLLib, Tensorflow, MxNet, etc.
• Strong publication record in international conferences on machine learning and artificial intelligence
