Application Security Engineer – 6 Month Contract – Hybrid – Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is currently representing a large financial services client who are currently recruiting for a Application Security Engineer on an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension for over 12 months.

The position offers hybrid working with the client office based in London.

Key Requirements:

• Project experience with secure coding practices with Python,
• Integrating various SecDevOps vendor solutions related to Security into CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to implementing of automated testing for resilience and reliability (eg load testing, chaos engineering, synthetic monitoring, real-user monitoring)
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies, such as web application Firewalls, static analysis tools, and dynamic analysis tools
• Perform code reviews and analyse application designs to ensure security best practices are followed
• Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of applications
• Application Security tools – Veracode/Checkmarx/Qualys/Rapid7 AppSpider

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Remote/London – 3x Per Week
• Day Rate: Up to £500 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: January 2024
